Migration of Ideas

14.11 – 5.12.2024

Hayy Open Space presents Migration of Ideas curated by Jacub Jernajczyk with artworks by artists Ula Lucińska & Michał Knychaus, Aleksandra Szlęk, Saitip Majewska, Ievgeniia Grytsku, Miruna Gheordunescu, Ioannis Anastasiou and Laura Adel from the doctoral program at the Eugeniusz Geppert Academy of Art and Design in Wroclaw.

Ideas, which can sometimes evolve slowly or suddenly, depending on time, place, and context, like everything else, have changed their meanings over time. Curated by Jakub Jernajczy, Migration of Ideas is a conceptualised exhibition that references “migrating ideas” in the fields of social, scientific, philosophical, political, cultural, or artistic issues, reflecting on how human ideas have transformed throughout history.

Migration of Ideas presents diverse design approaches through video, sound, cyanotype, serigraphy, and installation mediums. It can be visited at Hayy Open Space from November 14 to December 5 on Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays between 1:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m.
